Join the 3rd Crew and support the Sailors who will bring America’s newest ballistic-missile submarine to life.

In 2026, the first Sailors of WISCONSIN (SSBN 827) will arrive in Connecticut to begin the incredible work of bringing the Navy’s most advanced nuclear-powered submarine to life. In the Badger State, thousands of Wisconsinites are already helping make it possible—through manufacturing, outreach, and support.

Now it’s our turn to welcome the crews themselves.

Meet the Blue Crew, the Gold Crew… and You

WISCONSIN will have two active-duty crews:  Blue Crew & Gold Crew

But there’s a third crew that makes this mission truly special: you—the supporters, families, veterans, businesses, and community members who stand behind them.

When you give, you become part of the 3rd Crew, helping us show these Sailors that Wisconsin is with them every step of the way.

Your tax-deductible gift helps us roll out a genuine Wisconsin welcome for WISCONSIN’s crews, while honoring our naval heritage.

Your support helps us:

  • Expand statewide outreach to share WISCONSIN’s story with schools, communities, and businesses

  • Partner with veterans’ groups to honor their service, build community, and inspire tomorrow’s submariners

  • Host welcome activities for Sailors and their families as they report to the boat

  • Preserve and celebrate Wisconsin’s naval heritage so future generations understand the sacrifices of the Silent Service

This submarine will silently patrol the world’s oceans, protecting our nation and our allies. Her missions may be unseen, but the support behind her doesn’t have to be.
