Wayne Glowac
Proudly and respectfully supporting the Submarine Service and its enduring legacy
Wayne Glowac is a marketing and communications professional with more than 40 years of experience in strategic planning, branding, public relations and organizational leadership. He is the founder of Orion Marketing and has worked with businesses, nonprofit organizations and community groups throughout Wisconsin. His career has also included executive marketing positions, business leadership and teaching marketing at the University of Wisconsin.
Wayne has a long history of community involvement, including service with the Greater Madison Convention & Visitors Bureau, Badger American Red Cross, Henry Vilas Zoological Society, Madison 56ers Soccer Club and other civic and professional organizations. He brings that combination of marketing experience and community service to his role on the USS Wisconsin SSBN 827 Association Board of Directors.
As a board member, Wayne is helping the Association expand awareness and engagement throughout Wisconsin and strengthen the connection between the state and its namesake submarine. He is especially interested in helping more Wisconsinites learn about WISCONSIN (SSBN 827), become involved in the Association’s “3rd Crew,” and support the Sailors and families of the Blue and Gold crews throughout the life of the submarine.
