Kevin Esser
Proud to Stand with the Submarine Force
A proud Wisconsinite, Kevin was born and raised in Madison - relocating to the Washington, DC area in 1995 following graduation from the University of Minnesota. Kevin has worked in support of the US Submarine Force ever since. He has worked in cybersecurity and systems engineering roles for combat, weapons, communications and intelligence systems touching every in-service submarine class. His efforts have seen him spend time both pierside and underway aboard more than 30 submarine platforms.
As a co-founder of G2 Ops, Kevin has focused on building an organization that fosters employee development, emphasizes continuous improvement, optimizes collaboration, and focuses on the development of innovative warfighting capabilities. He is a recognized leader in application of the Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) program to create and deliver capability to Navy programs.
Kevin is an active volunteer, having served as a Firefighter/EMT for multiple fire departments since the early 1990s and recently completed over 30 years of coaching youth and Varsity High School hockey. He is happily married and the proud father of 3 fantastic young men.
