Her keel was laid on August 27 — 8/27 — 2025, and August 27 is recognized by the State of Wisconsin as USS WISCONSIN (SSBN 827) Day.

The 8•27 Match celebrates that special connection while looking forward to another important milestone:

October 13 — the United States Navy’s 251st Birthday.

It is a fitting opportunity to honor 251 years of Navy service by supporting the Sailors who will carry that legacy forward aboard WISCONSIN.
